History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Tree was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Tree's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Loopmottin was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She now owns her own business.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bounty Hunter.
