History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Menny was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Menny decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Menny fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Paela was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she desires power and/or immortality

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He wears a worn and beaten armor. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
