Description: This tall, slender man wears just a tan suit. He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Herbalist work with an outfit from a few towns over. Herbalist work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: She is a husky woman, who wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. Her tied-back hair is red. Her amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.
History: The child of a Blacksmith, who enjoyed hunting, Anne was taken on many hunting expeditions. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Doctor.
Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Doctor responsibilities is difficult; and regain custody of her daughter

Description: She is an average looking northern female in her early mid-life. She wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a tan coat. She has moderate length white hair. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.
History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she has money and likes to spend it

Description: This southern woman is abnormally tall. She wears an entirely brown suit with white socks and a vest with buckled shoes. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. With wild chestnut hair. Her gray eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.
History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Oriel grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Oriel. After a long history of fighting, Oriel and her spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable.
