When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Bethrynna was born on a far western forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Jeweler. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She wants revenge against illithids; and a deep hatred of illithids

Description: This southern woman wears black trousers with violet and green striped suspenders. She wears various colorful collared shirts. Her clothes are grease stained in places. Her black crest is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her red eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. The war was a terrible time for her, and Findex does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Findex was born on a far southern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Healer. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
