History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Elysande was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Elysande's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
