Personality: He is a Carter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born in the north to a Carter, Ortegar learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He now owns his own business.

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she wears brown robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a bastard sword, but if one is not available she will default to her hand crossbow. She wears a broad hat to hide her balding. She has a dull look in her green eyes.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Kilia abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She wears an entirely black suit with white socks and a vest with buckled shoes. Her hair is short and red. Her eyes are likewise red.

Personality: She hates Tieflings with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Voice: Pronounces difficult words wrong

Description: This northern man likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His clothes are grease stained in places. He has dyed his greying black hair a little too much giving a sharp black color. His blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
