She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. After a long history of fighting, Tatyan and her spouse have recently divorced.
