History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Rendar hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Rendar was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Cloak is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
