He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: Thiala was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gifted student she started as a Engraver, but she got bored and became a Ruler. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
