Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a tight fitting red shirt and pants. His chestnut hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His amber eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Bertram isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Bounty Hunter profession.

History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Bertram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. She wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide her balding. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her 12th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Description: He is renowned for his bright blue suits and hats. He carries with him a set of falchions, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He has a golden handlebar mustache and slicked back golden hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Pallabar hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting brigands, the young Pallabar began to lead the lost caravan. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east.
