The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Uzza is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is her passion
