History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Arumawann was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. After coming to the age of reason, Cumpen took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to giants.
