History: Erky was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Marshal. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He typically wears tan cloth garments or leather armor. His chestnut hair is heavily combed to the left. His violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his dancing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born in the east. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
