He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Carter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Pelt alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
