History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Emerald was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Emerald decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Emerald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She got into the Knight business at a young age. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Puyet grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Puyet. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Berrian was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Berrian abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Spice Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spice Merchant work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has achieved small success as a Spice Merchant.
