History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Zephan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Zephan. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. After coming to the age of reason, Meriele took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland.
