Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Elysande enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in the west to a Layabout, Elysande learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. She became a Layabout soon after.

He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
