History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At some point she was captured by goblins and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
