History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Rieta alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Courier they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Map Maker, and she later adopted a second son.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Balifra took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up hammer and armor she uses now. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balifra fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
