History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nicor grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nicor. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He bought a warhammer and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She struck the Slave Trader job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother
