He found a children's book about a Gnome Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Apothecary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.

History: He was born into a rich family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Rolf never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
