Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Oppleby never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Peter was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He worked as a nervous Cook and found it very stressful. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: Rolen hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his music career. The war was a terrible time for him, and Rolen does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and wants to work out more often
