History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Through the years after Shanairla was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Shanairla's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Fortune-teller for hire.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
