He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has achieved small success as a Guard.

History: Patrick was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When Patrick reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to dire rats.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: Thiala was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. A gifted student she started as a Soapmaker, but she got bored and became a Gardener. She now owns her own business.
