Description: With violet face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright violet and blue, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has dyed his greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. In his youth he was a Mayor, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing painting.

History: Gifted from a young age, Nala studied abroad. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He has white hair. His eyes are white and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Balam was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Balam grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Balam. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he is well dressed, constantly wearing a grey suit, blue shirt, and brown tie. He wears his auburn hair up. His amber eyes peer out from beneath his Stetson grey hat.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats.
