History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Jo alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to giants.
