History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Through the years after Willow was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Willow's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has worked as a Engraver like his father before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Engraver responsibilities is difficult; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He keeps his long red fur kept up in a rat tail. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Cask hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Cask was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Glassblower they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Ruler, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Ruler and was forced into it by her family; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
