History: Gale was born the youngest of three triplets. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Through the years after Oppleby was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Oppleby's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
