Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rurik embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and her religion dominates her actions

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with singing. She constantly tries to fill her life with singing. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: The child of a Merchant, who enjoyed hunting, Emmeline was taken on many hunting expeditions. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Ownka lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
