Personality: Nala hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Navigator profession.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Actor arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She's also a talented Navigator, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Jaxi was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Jaxi's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Revenge; and her religion dominates her actions

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. A freak accident while working with his Miner father left him crippled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
