Personality: Jane speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Ruler. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Marbas was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Kothûg is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Kothûg was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and an old rival family wants him found
