History: Born in the north to a Painter, Crampernap learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. After coming to the age of reason, Crampernap took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Patrin is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Dimble was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it
