History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying north to reunite her family. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Shanairla is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Shanairla and her spouse have recently divorced.
