Personality: River is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Stableman arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Being a Stableman kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Hork never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: He is content.

Description: She is in excellent shape and wears dull tan sweaters, loose green pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed mace, just in case. Her brown hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She has gleaming, smiling green eyes.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her first spouse was a Soapmaker, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter.
