History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.
