Description: He is a husky man, who wears a brown costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. His hair is short and golden. His eyes are hazel.
Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Bertram was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Bertram's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has never given up on his writing dream.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he usually wears his grey robe and has his morningstar always slung over his shoulder. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Halfling culture. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and sabotage a competitor

Description: She is lean but muscular and wears suspenders and violet workpants. Her shirt is yellow, and she wears a heavy violet leather apron most of the time. Her hair is golden and curly. Her green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shanairla grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dwarven companion (her 'brother'). She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Description: He is wearing a long, grey cloak, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 3'11" when asserting himself. His white hair is knotted and matted. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Now he works as a painting tutor during his time off.
Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and to share knowledge with the world
