History: Nithther lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. Locksmith work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a Locksmith soon after.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
