Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing writing.

History: Mastema hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
