Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, River embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 96. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Dyer arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
