History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Heather and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He found a children's book about a Gnome Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
