History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Her first spouse was a Scribe, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Scribe. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and doesn't want to be a healer and was forced into it by her family

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is greedy

Her chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality.
