Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Gifted from a young age, Pelt studied abroad. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bricklayer. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
