She found a children's book about a Halfling Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Vapula was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and she's looking for her big break

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Conrad grew up listening to his father's many stories. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
