History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Arannis was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Arannis's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Arannis and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her druidic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was granted druidic powers by her dying brother.

History: Merla was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
