History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. In her youth she was a Carpenter, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
