History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Bathin never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.
