History: Aldous lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Soapmaker for the past few years.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Dyer father left her crippled. After a long history of fighting, Megren and her spouse have recently divorced.
