Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Merla is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the north to a Spice Merchant, Merla learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Tiefling culture. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Hillanot's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
