History: Seven was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: Balam hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dilettante work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dilettante work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
