Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Altho was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Carter they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Mercenary, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and doesn't want to be a mercenary and was forced into it by his family

History: Born in the east to a Soapmaker, Diesa learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Diesa was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She struck the Soapmaker job and began her own company from there.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
